Ingredients

  • 675 grams of cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 200 grams of white sugar
  • 5 whole eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  • 240 milliliters of heavy cream or all-purpose cream or sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Steps

Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).

Line a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan with parchment paper, pushing it into the pan.
3.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
4.
Add the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next.
5.
Ensure the batter is smooth.
6.
Add the flour, heavy cream, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
7.
Mix until well combined.
8.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
9.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
10.
The top should be dark brown and the middle still slightly jiggly.
11.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan before removing the sides.
12.
Serve at room temperature.
