Ingredients
- Graham Crust
- 150 grams crushed grahams
- 55 grams melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Cheesecake Batter
- 500 grams cream cheese, softened
- 150 grams sugar
- 3 eggs
- 240g sour cream or double cream
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Steps
- Graham Crust
- 1.Mix crushed grahams, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl to create the base.
- 2.Press the mixture into the base of a springform pan and refrigerate.
- Cheesecake Batter
- 3.In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- 4.Gradually add sugar, eggs, and cornstarch, beating after each addition.
- 5.Pour the cream cheese mixture onto the base in the springform pan.
- 6.Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for 60 minutes.
- 7.Allow the cheesecake to cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar.
- 8.Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
