Ingredients

  • 120g pineapple juice
  • 120g soy sauce
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 60g oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp minced ginger
  • 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • Oil for shallow frying

Steps

Create the marinade by combining pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, vinegar, pepper, garlic, and ginger in a blender.

Blend until smooth.

Marinate the chicken chunks with half of the marinade.
4.
Thicken the remaining sauce over a pan by boiling it for around 5 minutes.

Heat the oil and shallow fry the marinated chicken breast until it achieves a golden hue.
6.
Serve with rice or egg noodles, green onions, buttered cabbage, and the thickened sauce.
